Neon Noir is one of the first projects that I had to design within a strict mood and set of constraints that were unfamiliar to me. Neon Noir’s world was built around synth-pop’s clash of nostalgia and futurism, and I treated it like an experiment in visual storytelling. So I leaned in: neon glow, rough textures, and sharp type. A future that felt worn-out before it even began. Neon Noir ended up less about making things pretty and more about building a world that could hold itself together.
